Integrated software solutions company, MEDITECH South Africa has announced the appointment of Dr Ntombi Mutshekwane as their new Sales and Marketing Executive.

Dr Mutshekwane will assume responsibilities on the 2nd of May 2018 and will be leading the company’s effort to bring MEDITECH Expanse, their latest web-based platform, to the Africa and Middle-East markets.

“MEDITECH South Africa is proud to announce the appointment of Dr Mutshekwane as our new Sales and Marketing Executive – Dr Mutshekwane is backed by clinical, technological and strategic acumen. We are confident that she will take our new web EHR platform Expanse to new markets and greater heights,” said Managing Director at MEDITECH South Africa, Dr Sushanth Pillai.

Dr Mutshekwane qualified in 2000 with her MBCHB, followed by an MBL in 2014 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health of Technology Management in 2016. In 2005 she started her own company, leading a team of professionals to run the Emergency Departments in various hospitals on an outsourced basis. In 2010, she established Mutsh Medical International which focussed on the sales of high quality healthcare technologies internationally.

In addition to her wealth of healthcare knowledge, she has acted in the capacity of executive and non-executive directors in various industries in South Africa. Dr Mutshekwane was awarded 1st runner-up in the 2016 Regional Business Woman of the year awards.
