Where implemented

MEDITECH has more than 2400 Hospital installations worldwide with 41% of Hospitals in Canada and 26% in the USA running MEDITECH.  In South Africa, KZN and Free State provinces are running the MEDITECH system at multiple public facilities and AngloGold Ashanti has the system installed at two of their facilities. In the Commercial Laboratory Space 95% of the Labs in SA are running MEDITECH.

In Africa, the system is deployed at 17 Hospitals in Botswana with the final 10 hospitals to be rolled out shortly.  9 other countries in Africa have the system running in either their Laboratory or Hospital environments.

Ramsay Health Care in Australia has the system installed at 70 of their Private Hospitals.

In 2014 in Singapore, the flagship Farrer Park hospital went live on MEDITECH.

2 Hospitals in the Middle East, one in Dubai and one in Kuwait are running the MEDITECH system.

Contribution to eHealth in SA
