Caché alone has over 4 million installed licensed users and over 80,000 supported systems in 88 countries.  In Africa, the company has healthcare installations in 10 countries, both in government and private healthcare sector hospitals and clinics.

Contribution to eHealth in SA

The InterSystems South African office was established in 2002 and has since appointed a number of local application partners, many with a healthcare focus.  The National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) of South Africa has successfully completed the first of two phases of deployment for TrakCare Lab at over 250 laboratories.  The Western Cape Government has over 2,000 users making use of Hospital Information Systems and Pharmacy applications also using InterSystems technologies.  In addition, a number of private laboratories, hospitals and clinics also rely on InterSystems for their competitive advantage.
