info4africa is a national data collection agency specialising in the fields of health, wellbeing and development. As a self-funded Centre of the School of Applied Human Sciences, College of Humanities, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), info4africa was formerly known at the Centre for HIV/AIDS Networking (HIVAN), which was established in 2001.
With a long history of working in the fields of HIV, AIDS and TB, the info4africa team is devoted to collecting data and connecting communities. In addition to data collection and directory production, info4africa facilitates free networking and capacity building forums for the faith-based, social welfare, non-government and wider practitioner community in KwaZulu-Natal.
The organisation’s referral network is an invaluable resource that contains detailed information on organisations across South Africa involved in health, wellbeing and development service provision.

With a particular focus on vulnerable people and families, info4africa’s referral network enables easy access to service provider information. Information can be accessed on health, wellbeing and social development service providers via: their annually produced hard copy directories (also available in CD-ROM formats), website, mobisite (info4africa.storefind.mobi), contact centre, SMS and mobile directory.
