Aviro’s flagship product, Ithaka, helps patients navigate healthcare and locate support services.
Founded in 2014, Aviro has been working in the mHealth space in Sub-Saharan Africa for over four years. They have worked with clients from the NGO, Government and private sector space to develop health solutions to improve patient care and the workload burden on healthcare workers.
The Aviro MedMentor app is used across South Africa and has been translated into French for use in the Ivory Coast. Ithaka is currently used by WRHI in their self-test kit pilot study and is also being customised for use in Zimbabwe by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
